Get Ready for this weekends Charlotte Jumper Classic

The Charlotte Jumper Classic, APRIL 13 - 15, 2007, is the signature fundraising event for the Bobcats Charitable Foundation, which focuses on improving the lives of youth in the community. The upcoming 2007 Charlotte Jumper Classic will benefit Presbyterian Hemby Children’s Hospital and the Misty Meadows Mitey Riders, an equine therapy program for disabled children.

In just three short years, the Charlotte Jumper Classic has become one of the most anticipated and talked about events in the community. The three-day competition, culminating in the exciting Sunday Grand Prix finale, features the best riders from around the world, including past and present Olympians, competing for their share of a $400,000 purse.

Held at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena, in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, the Charlotte Jumper Classic provides something for everyone - intense competition, fantastic entertainment for families, and a state of the art facility for riders.

As an added bonus this year, the Purina Incredible Dog Team will also be performing every day!

The Charlotte Jumper Classic brings the world’s elite riders, including Olympic and World Cup medalists, to Charlotte and improves the opportunities for children - “you can’t ask for a better combination that that” remarked Bob Johnson majority oner of the Charlotte Bobcats, Charlotte Sting and the founder of the Charlotte Jumper Classic. “Our goal is to make this event the preeminent equestrian competition in the country.”
