Wellington, FL - May 18, 2025 - Numerous “A-list” riders are entered to compete at the Wachovia Showplace Spring Spectacular II from June 19-24, with the top prize being the $50,000 Wachovia Securities, LLC Grand Prix on Saturday, June 23.

Among the riders attending the show are Canadian Olympic veteran Beth Underhill, Wilhelm Genn, Bob Kraut and Karen Cudmore. “We couldn’t be happier with this year’s line-up for the Wachovia Showplace Spring Spectacular II,” said Pat Boyle, Showplace Productions manager. “Every year we have a great group of riders, and with Wachovia behind us, it’s bound to be one of the best weeks to date.”

Underhill is a highly decorated show jumper, having ridden in more than 25 Nations’ Cup competitions. In 1993 she was the first women to win the Canadian World Cup League, a feat she repeated in 1999. With her retired partner, Monopoly, she earned more than $1 million in the show ring. Other accolades include representing Canada at the 1998 World Equestrian Games and at the Pan American Games in 1999. Currently, Underhill is campaigning a top horse, Magdaline, and has seen much success this season.

Genn, a native of Germany, is now based in Ohio. Before moving to the U.S., he was awarded the Golden Medallion for Show Jumping. In 1997 he was Midwest Grand Prix Rider of the Year and has accumulated many top placings and wins throughout the years. These wins include four Puissance victories and success in World Cup qualifying competitions.

Cudmore is based in Omaha, NB, and is originally from Victoria, BC. Recent wins include her victory in the $100,000 World Cup Grand Prix in August of last year at the CSI-W Caledon Summer Festival in Palgrave, ON, and the $60,000 AGA Grand Prix of Denver in July.
