A brand new show in Sicily

The first CSI4* di Hyblon – “Challenge Raffaella Aprile”, is scheduled to take place from Friday, June 15 through Sunday June 17 at the “Associazione Ippica Megarese” equestrian center in the city of Augusta (Southern Sicily). One hundred riders on 250 horses, hailing from fourteen Nations will vie for €170,000 in prize money, €80,000 of which will be awarded to the winner of the “Challenge Raffaella Aprile” Grand Prix, to be held on the final day of competition. This very special competition is dedicated to the memory of a promising young rider, daughter of the head of the show’s organizing committee, Raffaele Aprile. Among the participants is Ireland’s Cameron Hanley, 49th on the FEI computer list, Sweden’s Helena Lundback (66th) and Italy’s Piergiorgio Bucci, Bruno Chimirri, Roberto Cristofoletti, Gianni Govoni, Beatrice Patrese and Filippo Moyerson. The Hyblon CSI4* is also a qualifying round for the 2008 Peking Olympics and the next European Championship to be held in Mannheim, Germany next August.
