CONYERS. GA., JULY 3, 2025—The Atlanta Summer Classic, held at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, proved a watershed show for the Aiken, S.C. based TOKARUK SHOW STABLES as several clients captured ribbons and division championships.
Honored, owned by Karen Long Dwight took the Tricolors in the Children’s Hunters 15-17 division with Taylor Byram in the irons. The team was also 1st in the NCE Children’s Equitation Class 15-17, 3-foot Div. And then, on Sunday, Honored and Byram went on to capture the NHJL/NAL Children’s Hunter Classic, 15-17.
Other TSS clients in the ribbons this week included Janet Liu, whose horse Up to Something earned Reserve Champion honors in the2′6″ Special Hunter with trainer Michael Tokaruk aboard, while Elizabeth Grimes was 3rd in the Adult Jumper Classic on Sunday with her horse Roxanne.
As for the Tokaruk brothers themselves, Michael and partner Lord Byron captured the 7th place ribbon in the grueling $25,000 Outback Steakhouse Horses Helping Horses Grand Prix on Saturday Evening, while Luke took 2nd place in the Trainers Equitation Medal class aboard the Laura Connelly Tokaruk-owned Zarra.
As reported earlier in the week, Sergio Campos of Florida’s LONGWOOD EQUESTRIAN CENTER lead the victory gallop in the Open Jumper Welcome Stake on Thursday night, riding Mill Creek Sancho, and again on Saturday for the $25,000 Outback Steakhouse Horses Helping Horses Grand Prix, this time aboard Shakira do Jacare.
Meanwhile, Longwood client Dianna Rodolpho collected the blue ribbon EMO NHJL High Jr. Amateur Jumper Classic aboard her French-bred gelding Monkey du Parc. Earlier in the week, Monkey was 1st in the YJC 7&8 year old Qualifying class, with Campos in the irons.
Daniel Geitner, of the Aiken-based DFG STABLES, also had a stellar week. Geitner captured Tricolor honors in the Special Hunter 3-foot Division, aboard Cachet, owned by Lee Cesery, and also in Open Jumper Level 6, aboard Fargo, owned by M/M Rex Marquette.
Geitner was Reserve champ in the Green Working Hunters on Colorado, owned by M/M Rex Marquette, and in the Open Jumper Level 6 aboard Gladiator, owned by Kathleen Feeley.
Clients of DFG Stables did well in the Amateur divisions. How Now, owned and ridden by Jennifer Gamboa, was Reserve Champion in the Adult Amateur Hunter 36-45, and also took 1st place in NCE Adult Equitation 36-45 3Ft Div.
Another Gamboa entry, Gitane du Rol, owned by Jennifer and ridden by her husband, Dr. Juan Gamboa, was Reserve Champion in the Adult Jumpers and also took 1st place in the NHJL Adult Jumper Classic.

HUNTERS LANE FARM, MONROE, N.C.
Champion, Adult Amateur Hunter 36-45, with CR Galileo, owned by Callie Gudgel and ridden by Missy Luczak. Galileo also won the NHJL/NAL Adult Hunter Classic 36 &Over with Luczak again in the irons.
And Hunters Lane’s own Stephen Heinecke won the crowd-pleasing Trainer’s Equitation Medal class held on Friday evening.
