Lexington, KY - August 4, 2025 - Since the completion of the $25,000 Hagyard Lexington Classic Grand Prix on August 2 at the Kentucky Summer Horse Show, the latest Hagyard Challenge Series standings are now available.
The Hagyard Challenge Series is a series of seven show jumping events held throughout the summer at the Kentucky Horse Park. In addition to offering $170,000 in prize money, the challenge will present the top rider with a $30,000 Leading Rider Bonus after the succession of classes come to an end. Three of the seven classes have been held to date, and the final event, the $50,000 World Cup qualifying grand prix, is scheduled for the Kentucky National Indoor Horse Show on September 28, 2007.
After Debbie Stephens’ victory on August 2, she is currently tied with Kent Farrington and Ainsley Vince for the lead. All three riders have won $9,000 in prize money. Molly Ashe-Cawley sits in fourth with $8,400, and Katie Prudent and Lauren Hough are ranked fifth with $6,600. Marilyn Little is in the seventh spot as of now with $5,500, Sloane Coles’ total of $3,250 places her in eighth, and Jimmy Torano and Christine McCrea rank in the ninth position after winning $2,400. Chris Kappler and Laura Bowery are tied for eleventh with $2,000.
The Hagyard Challenge Series will continue on next week at the Kentucky Summer Classic with the $25,000 Hagyard Lexington Classic Grand Prix.
