September 28, 2025
New Albany, OH, September 28, 2025 – The New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix & Family Day culminated in an exciting jump off between Pablo Barrios of Venezuela on Lagran, Jeffery Welles of New York on Armani and Ali Wolff of New Albany on Lanoo. Welles and his Dutch warmblood mount won the $80,000 class with zero faults and a time of 42.97 seconds compared to second place Barrios’ time of 43.90 seconds. Wolff pulled up after having eight faults in the jump off.
“I am thrilled to see Jeffery win this class today,” said Mrs. Abigail Wexner, founder of The New Albany Classic and an avid equestrian.
“It’s really gratifying for all of us who know him and know how hard he works to see him come back with Armani. The horse is going so well and we really got to witness that today,” Wexner concluded.
