February 28, 2026

WEF is not much better with only a few days reaching the high Seventies. The other day we had lunch at a Beach Bar. The female bartender had on a hooded Parker and gloves. Tough to handle the “Lemon Twist” with that outfit.
After two rounds of the USEF Trials, Lauren Hough and Laura Kraut are the only ones with clear rounds and Hillary Dobbes is just a tine fault behind. Before the trials began McLain Ward and Sapphire were named to the USEF Show Jumping Long List for 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games and have thus already qualified to compete.
Per the USEF Selection Procedure for the Show Jumping Team, the Selectors have the discretion to recommend up to six of the 15 horse/rider combinations to the Long List prior to the conclusion of the Selection Trials
