Welles and Armani Remain Fault Free After Two Rounds of the USEF Selection Trials for Show Jumping

Wellington, FL - The Palm Beach International Equestrian Center played host to the second leg of the USEF Selection Trials for Show Jumping sponsored by Equine Motorcoach and Hong Kong Tourism as part of the $100,000 FEI World Cup Qualifier and Zada Enterprises LLC Masters Cup. 68 horses lined up on Sunday March 2, 2008, 42 of which were vying for selection. Following the completion of the Selection Trials on Sunday March 10, the USEF Selectors will name ten horse and rider combinations to the short list for the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong. Will Simpson Wins $100,000 World Cup Qualifier

Jeffrey Welles Leads U.S. Selection Trials

WELLINGTON, Fla., March 2 - A tough day of show jumping saw Will Simpson of Thousand Oaks, Calif., emerge the winner of the $100,000 Zada Enterprises Masters Cup, which acted as a World Cup Qualifying event. It was also the second United States Show Jumping Team Selection Trial for the 2008 Olympic Games, which Jeffrey Welles of Brewster, N.Y., now leads with the only perfect score followed closely by Laura Kraut and Cedric who have one fault. Central Equine Relay rocks HITS Ocala and HITS Thermal

OCALA, FL (March 2, 2025)—The excitement from The Central Equine Relay rang from coast to coast as this new class highlighted an exciting weekend at both HITS Ocala and HITS Thermal. First on Friday night at HITS Ocala, it was the Central Equine Southeast Team that triumphed. The team consisted of Aaron Vale, Kristinna Lindgren and Claudia Billups. In a special calcutta held before the event almost $5,500 was raised to benefit Kristen Halvorson, a junior rider who was seriously injured in a fall last week. (Read on…)

Fiyero and Elizabeth Boyd Win in front of a Record Crowd at the 12th AHJF Hunter Classic

March 2, 2025 – Wellington, FL – It was superstition, sibling support, music and a great horse that guided Elizabeth Boyd and Fiyero to the top place under a record crowd at the 12th annual AHJF Hunter Classic Spectacular on Saturday night, February 23rd at the CN Winter Equestrian Festival. She managed that same feat for the very first Classic 12 years earlier.
