American Show Jumpers Take Nations Cup in Buenos Aires

It was a stars-and-stripes win as four top riders from the United States took the Nations Cup in CSIO Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Friday, November 10. The team of Eliza Shuford, Chris Kappler, Carolyn Kelly and Brianne Goutal beat out riders from four other countries—Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Sweden. USEF to Continue Five-Day Format in 2007 at the Pony Finals National Championships; Dates Set for Event’s 40th Anniversary

Lexington, KY—The 2007 USEF Pony Finals National Championships will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park from August 15-19, 2007. The five-day format, which was begun in 2006, will continue in 2007. The championships include the USEF National Pony Jumper Championship Individual, the USEF National Pony Jumper Championship Team, USEF Pony Medal Final, USEF National Green Hunter Pony Championships, and the USEF National Hunter Pony Championships. $50,000 CLEVELAND CHALLENGE EXPECTED TO ATTRACT TOP SHOW JUMPERS TO OHIO

Moreland Hills, Ohio – November 2006 – Two of the nation’s top horse show jumping events are teaming up to promote grand prix show jumping in Cleveland. Organizers of the Chagrin Valley PHA Hunter Jumper Classic and the American Gold Cup (both held annually at the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field in Moreland Hills, Ohio) have established a $50,000 Challenge to encourage the world’s best grand prix riders travel to Northeast Ohio to compete at both events.
