Fort Langley, BC – The tropical atmosphere and flowered shirts of the Tommy Bahama Grand Prix and the uninhibited excitement of the Blaylock Surgical Centre Six-Bar Challenge were enervating warm-ups to the $75,000 Keg Steakhouse & Bar Grand Prix that concluded Thunderbird Show Park’s Summer Festival tournament. 24 yr. old Anna-Maria Jakobs is the Surprise Winner in Muenster (GER)

The 24 yr. old Anna-Maria Jakobs from Diemelstadt (GER) won the grand prix this afternoon at the “Turnier der Sieger” in Muenster , the third stage of the RIDERS TOUR 2007, with her stallion Lausjunge. “I was improving each day here in Muenster but I wasn’t counting on this win – this is such a special victory against great riders such as Ludger Beerbaum and Christian Ahlmann”, said the delighted student. Valkenswaard, 26 August – The 1.35m Special Invitational Final, was convincingly won by Britain’s Jane Davies with her KWPN gelding Patrick (Indoctro x Notaris). She had the only clear round in the five-horse jump-off.
