EQUUS Equestrian Idol Less Than A Week Away!

WESTPORT, CT - February 1, 2026 - Two new performers, Dianna Bricker and Jen White Kane, will battle it out with returning performers, Heather Caristo, Hillary Dobbs, Patricia Griffith, Casey Hodges, Brian Lookabill, and Chad Watridge at the EQUUS Equestrian Idol Musical Talent Show this Friday, February 6, 2009.

Ki-Juan Minors, the 2008 Idol and Taylor Blauweiss, the 2007 Idol, will open the fun-filled evening to raise funds for The EQUUS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity established to raise public awareness of the valuable role horses play in our everyday lives.

In addition to the honor of reigning as the 2009 winner, the 2009 Idol will perform at a Sunday polo match at the International Polo Club Palm Beach.

Catered by Aaron’s Catering of Wellington with a “Pacific Rim” theme, starting at 6:00 p.m., guests will be welcomed with the “Equestrian Idol-Tini”, a Blue Signature Cocktail with Blue Curacao, Rum, Crème de Coconut, and Pineapple Juice, or they may frequent the open bar. While guests peruse the silent auction items, they can enjoy a Multi-Tier Asian Hot & Cold Specialty Appetizer Bar, and passed hors d’oeuvres, including Chicken Satay, Sesame Beef, Thai Chicken & Cashew Rolls, and more.

Guests will then enjoy an Asian Dinner Buffet with Coconut-Panko and Parmesan Encrusted Fish, Hawaiian Shish-Ka-Bob, and Cashew Fusion Chicken, Asian Slaw with Ginger Citrus Vinaigrette Dressing, Jasmine Rice, Creamy Curry Lo Mein, Szechuan Broccoli, Ginner Snow Peas, Crispy Sesame Noodles, Shrimp Rice Puffs, Wonton Strips. To complete the menu, guests will be treated to “Cinnamon-Fried Cheesecake” served Sushi Style and Fortune Cookies.
