The Swiss Flag Flies Again as Markus Fuchs and Nirmette Win €20,000 Welcome Stake at CN Worldwide Wellington Finale, CSI-5*

Wellington, FL – March 14, 2025 –Switzerland’s Markus Fuchs and Nirmette brought home the win in the €20,000 Welcome Stake in the CN Worldwide Wellington Finale, CSI-5*, the final week of the Winter Equestrian Festival at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club. Today’s event was an opening class for the international division of open jumpers. Fuchs went for the win and beat Mario Deslauriers (CAN) on Levantos and Eric Flameng of Belgium on Mazelle. Sergio Campos and Shakira do Jacare Prevail in HITS $50,000 Iron Springs Farm Grand Prix

OCALA, FL.—It was a sweet homecoming. After a two-week layoff, Sergio Campos’ exceptional homebred mare Shakira do Jacare returned for Sunday’s closing Grand Prix of the HITS Ocala Tournament. Not coincidentally, she ended the afternoon back in the winner circle. The horse and rider team, who both hail from Brazil, captured the $50,000 Iron Springs Farm Grand Prix, presented by Sag Harbor Realtors, held March 11 at HITS’ Post Time Farm in Ocala, Fl.
