United States starts ahead in Dressage Team Event

RIO DE JANEIRO, 14 July - United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil started ahead in the first day of the dressage competition, this Saturday, at the National Equestrian Center, in Deodoro Military Club. The St.Georges’ level, known as a series of mandatory movements, was executed by 13 combinations from Mexico, the only country that had two combinations performing this Saturday, Guatemala, Canada, United States, Argentina, Chile, Equador, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Bermuda and Dominican Republic. East Dorset, Vermont — Thirty-three horses competed in Saturday’s NAL/WIHS Children’s Jumper Classic and 15-year-old Zazou Hoffman of Santa Monica, CA, was the fastest in the jump-off for victory at the Vermont Summer Festival. Molly Ashe and Lutopia won the Eurocommerce PrizeSixty-Six horse and rider combinations came to the starting gate in Saturday afternoons Eurocommerce Prize at CSI Twente in Geesteren, Netherlands. This 1.45m competition saw 24 riders complete the opening round with clear rides. Seventeen of those advanced to the jump off including two Americans, Beezie Madden and Molly Ashe Cawley.
