Canada’s Tom Dvorak Finishes Fourth Individually at Pan American Games

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Tom Dvorak of Hillsburgh, ON, finished fourth in the Individual Dressage competition held Wednesday at the XV Pan American Games. He was edged out of bronze medal position by the smallest of margins, 0.05%, by Yvonne Losos de Muñiz of the Dominican Republic riding the 11-year-old Hannoverian stallion, Bernstein Las Marismas. Jimmy Torano Takes Top Prizes at 2007 Vermont Summer Festival

East Dorset, Vermont — The ‘Manchester Summer Special’, the second of six weeks of equestrian competition at the Vermont Summer Festival, began Wednesday, July 18, with action in five all-weather rings. Despite the inclement weather, classes went smoothly especially in the grand prix ring where Jimmy Torano of Ft. Hickey Delivers Gold, Sammis Takes Silver, in Debut International Competition at the Pan American Games Dressage Individual Finals

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil—It was a double-medal day for Team USA at Deodoro Stadium as Maryland’s Christopher Hickey aboard Regent won the coveted Gold medal on a two-day averaged score of 70.725% after performing his freestyle before an appreciative crowd. Rio Welcomes the Americas

The 15th edition of the Pan American Games was officially opened last weekend in the Estádio do Maracanã (Maracanã stadium) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
