Palgrave, Ontario — Darrin Dlin of Spruce Grove, AB, claimed victory in the $100,000 Caledon Equestrian Park World Cup Grand Prix held Sunday, August 5, at the CSI-W Caledon Summer Festival in Palgrave, ON. A total of 26 riders tackled the technical course set by Robert Ellis of Great Britain with nine passing the test and advancing to the jump-off. Riding sixth out of the jump-off order, Darrin Dlin and the Canadian-bred Catwalk were clear in a time 49.23 seconds to take over the lead from American Schuyler Riley and Nottingham who had also jumped double clear in a time of 51.77 seconds. SAUGERTIES, NY (August 6, 2025) — Margie Engle and her mount Hidden Creek’s Quervo Gold negotiated the fastest double-clear round on course designer Jack Robson’s route to take home the blue-ribbon in Sunday’s $75,000 RV Sales of Broward Grand Prix at HITS Saugerties. “It was a very technical course that had a little of everything,” said Engle. “The time allowed was a factor and there were some big fences. WELLINGTON, FL - August 6, 2025 - The USET Foundation’s Equestrian Application to field a squad of 12 Olympic riders in the 2008 Rose Parade has been officially accepted by the Equestrian Committee of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. The USET Foundation will select four Olympians from each of the three Olympic disciplines (dressage, show jumping, and eventing) to ride in the 119th Rose Parade on January 1, 2008, in Pasadena, CA.
