Riders from 34 nations will compete at CSI Valkenswaard

The number of countries participating at the CSI Valkenswaard Horse Festival from AUgust 11 - 19 and International Concours Valkenswaard August 23 - 26 come from a multitude of countries. Riders from no less then 32 countries, from all five continents, will saddle their horses for various showjumping competitions on the beautifull grounds of Stal Tops. (Read on…)

Flashpoint Media Services: Our Week in Review

Aug. 7, 2007— After a successful two weeks of showing at the Biltmore Summer Classics, several Flashpoint clients headed straight to the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show in Blowing Rock, N.C., where more ribbons were collected. Alise Oken, who rides with Robert Hunt at the N.C.-based Hunters Lane Farm, took 4th place in the Pessoa USEF Hunter Seat Medal Class with her horse Ashton. Meanwhile, Oken’s horse was ridden to Reserve Champion honors in the Green Conformation Hunters by Hunters Lane trainer Stephen Heinecke. And sister Lucille Oken, who was Grand Pony Champion at Biltmore, had another peak week, earning the TriColors in the Small Pony Hunters with her mount Hi Lite. (Read on…)

Sonja S. Keating Named USEF General Counsel

Lexington, KY—Sonja S. Keating has been named Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF). Before this appointment, Keating served as Associate General Counsel for the USEF. Prior to joining the Federation staff, Keating was associated with the Lexington office of the Cincinnati-based law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, where she practiced in the litigation department.
