Bridgehampton, NY-September 2, 2007-Eliza Shuford, 28, of Hickory, North Carolina and Larentino, owned by the Larentino Group, triumphed in the $150,000 FTI Grand Prix on Sunday in one of the most exiting Grand Prix classes in the history of the Hampton Classic Horse Show. The Equestrian Festival (July 25 to 29, 2007) and Summer Festival (August 1 to 5, 2007) welcomed record-breaking entries and enthusiastic spectators. Owned and run by the Equestrian Management Group (E.M.G.), the North Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, Ontario sits on 500 acres. The park is host to top hunter-jumper shows, including World Cup Qualifiers and Team Selection Trials, as well as quarter horse, paint horse, dressage and other. Bridgehampton, NY-September 2, 2007- Tracey Weinberg of Lovettsville, VA, rode to victory in the $25,000 Calvin Klein Show Jumping Derby at the Hampton Classic Horse Show on Sunday morning, riding Linda Z, owned by Weinberg and the Weinberg Brokerage Group. Di Boddy’s influential show jumping course with clear rounds at a premium produced one of the most nail-biting finishes ever. With a result of 85.8% they are the winners of today’s Kür and, to the enthusiastic applause of what seemed to be the entire Orange kingdom, are crowned the 2007 FEI European Dressage Kür Champions.
