Two Months Later and All is Well
August 10, 2025
Up and running for two months now, HJN’s new site look has received great reviews from the majority of its users. Topping 31,000 unique visitors in July, we are at another record setting pace for the month of August. HJN continues to lead the way in the consolidation and presentation of World Wide Equestrian News to the Show Jumping Community.
The latest figures from Alexa show that HJN outranks its nearest competitior by a 3-1 advantage. Statistics reported show that for all Internet sites, HJN ranks now ranks 584,238. Not bad for a niche community. The nearest competitor, PhelpsSports.com ranks 1,597,741.
Part of our new software deals with encryption of Passwords. We no longer know your password, but you can retrieve it yourself. Some of the older users of the system are encountering “G2 Errors” when they attempt to access the site. If this occurs with your login, please notify [email protected]. Include your login name and email and Simon will correct the problem and email you a new password.
As you are aware, you are only required to login to use the systems comment section. Our usernames will be trimmed for efficiency purposes at the end of August. If you have not used the comment section or are an author who has not posted, your login will be eliminated.
We encourage your feedback. If you would like something that you don’t currently see, ask for it. No guarantees, that it will be implemented but it will be considered.
For now just enjoy the Olympics and “Today’s Horse Show News Today” as we have been presenting it to you since World Cup 2000
