Four Dressage Riders to Represent the United States at the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany

Lexington, KY −The United States Equestrian Federation is pleased to announce the US representatives for the CHIO Aachen in Germany July 3-8. Marcus Ehning’s For Pleasure Says Goodbye at Aachen

As was fitting, For Pleasure made his last farewell appearance in Aachen. He was one of the most successful show jumping horses in Germany.

According to Marcus Ehning, the German national anthem is For Pleasure’s favourite song, even if it was not played at the official farewell celebrations of the Hanoverian stallion. (Read on…)

The Germans made it two-in-a-row when, following on their opening round
success at La Baule two weeks ago, they were triumphant once again on
their home ground in Aachen today. And World No. 1 Marcus Ehning found
himself surplus to requirements when not having to start with Gitania

Morris names US Team for Friday’s Super League

The first victor in the CHIO 2006 was Jos Lansink of Belgium. Eight riders managed to make the jump off but Sweden’s Malin Baryard-Johnsson was the only female to qualify for the jump off. Last year the Ladies won the “Battle of the Sexes” and a hope for a repeat failed when Mailin finished 6th. (Read on…)

Aachen kicks off its WEG celebration with the Samsung Super League Competition starting Wednesday
