Forbes takes Adult Amateur at Devon on Monday Evening

Devon, Pa.—Rebecca Forbes of Stuarts Draft, Va., rode her Kick The Clouds to win the $2,500 Adult Amateur Monday evening at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, and that win gave her the Championship in the division. Montreal’s Myra Simard Wins $25,000 Grand Prix of St. Lazare

St-Lazare, Quebec – Hometown hero Myra Simard won the $25,000 Thermal King Grand Prix at the St. Lazare Horse Show on Sunday, May 27, in St. Lazare, QC.

The Montreal native and her long-time partner, Dutch Treat, were the only combination to successfully negotiate the first-round course set by American course designer Anthony D’Ambrosio without incurring any faults. (Read on…)

At Devon, Catie Boone wins SJHF Jumper Classic

Boone’s mount Naleida won the Junior Jumper Championship and Boone was Leading Junior Jumper Rider.

DEVON, Pa.— Catie Boone of Lexington, Ky., having gone clean in the first round of the $15,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Junior Jumper Classic at the Devon Horse Show, had to wait out an hour-long rain delay before the jump-off, but she didn’t let that get to her.

Second to go in the jump-off after the storm, she shaved three-tenths of a second off Jessica Springsteen’s leading time to win in 35.814. (Read on…)

Maria Schaub is the first two time winner of the R.W. “Ronnie” Mutch Equitation Championship at Devon

DEVON, Pa.—Maria Schaub, 18 of Rumson, N.J., won her sections of three of the four equitation classes at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair to win the R.W. “Ronnie” Mutch Equitation Championship Friday.
