William Lowry rides his own Polygraf to victory in Sunday’s Hits on the Hudson $75,000 Grand Prix

The first major HITS Grand Prix of the summer season took place at Saugerties on Sunday May 28th and Windsor Farm Sales Bill Lowry claimed 1st palce aboard his own Polygraf. Julie Welles Dominates Junior Jumper Division at 2006 Devon Horse Show

Devon, PA – In addition to being one of the best equitation riders in the country, 17 year old Julie Welles of West Simsbury, CT, has proven that she is a force to be reckoned with in the junior jumpers. On her two mounts, Felix des Noues and Lapeti, Welles won every class in the division, was champion and reserve in the division, and was named Best Junior Jumper Rider of the show. (Read on…)

Brit’s Nick Skelton with Arko III and Michael Whitaker with Mozart des Hayettes finish 1-2 in the Grand Prix of Rome

Nick Skelton and ARKO III continued to collect prizes in Rome, as they were double clear to take the Grand Prix with its 44,800 Euro first place prize. On Thursday Skelton and ARKO III were presented with the FEI’s “Best Horse and Rider Combination for 2005″. It was the second year in a row that this pair won the FEI title. (Read on…)

Nick Skelton and Molly Ashe receive the Longines Style and Grace Award at Rome

Rome, ITALY – Nick Skelton received the Men’s style award and Molly Ashe was presented with the ladies style award presented by Longines in Rome this afternoon.
