Developing Riders Tour - Eliza Shuford is the Grand Prix winner at the Hamiona Bastioni Horse Festival in Finland

Eliza Shuford from the USA with her nine-year old Dutch gelding B.C.O Olymp were the fastest double clear combination and galloped to victory in the 160 centimetres two round Hamina Grand Prix. They stopped the clock at 44,12 seconds. Thomas Velin riding Grim St. Clair for Denmark was the only other double clear and got marginally beaten having used 44,40 seconds to clear the eight obstacles on the course. (Read on…)

Canadians “Lamazing” at Spruce Meadows

Saturday’s feature event at the Spruce Meadows ‘Continental’, the ConocoPhillips Canada Cup, turned into six horse showdown in an action packed jump-off with riders from Canada, the United States, and Ireland. In the end it was Canada’s Eric Lamaze riding Narcotique de Muze who defeated Ian Millar (CAN) and Darragh Kerins (IRL) to take first place. (Read on…)
