Madden and Judgement Rule at Spruce Meadows

Of the forty seven horse/rider combinations that nominated to start the $100,000 CN Performance Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows today only 34 actually made it to the start gate. Driving rain, gusty winds and a demanding course inspired 13 entries to scratch from the competition. None of the scratches however would have been considered prevent favourites. In Finland, USA Developing Riders Win Nations Cup

USA won the FEI Nations Cup competition at Hamina Bastioni Horse Festival in Finland. Denmark took second place and Italy was third. Seven nations started in the 150 cms two round competition designed by Aki Ylänne (FIN). The riders in the winning team were Brianne Goutal / Onira, Sarah Segal / True Love, Eliza Shuford / Larentino and Georgina Bloomberg / Mila. The home team took fourth place. (Read on…)

Global Champions Tour writes showjumping history in Cannes as Whatelet (UKR) Wins

Only American Entry, Laura Kraut and Anthem finish 19th

During the second event of the Global Champions Tour, presented by CN WorldWide and CN, showjumping history was written at the French Riviera. There not only was an exceptional field of competitors, with 17 riders out of the top 20 world ranking list present. Gregory Whatelet (UKR) gained his first ever win in a 5* Grand Prix, Eurosport broadcasted the event live and the new modus of a price giving ceremony brought the sport to a whole new level.
