Irish Eyes Smile at Spruce Meadows with an Eddie Macken Win

Ideal conditions and spectacular sport highlighted competition at Spruce Meadows today. And a surprise champion in the RBC Financial Group Cup added an exclamation point to a wonderful day of sport. The feature competition of the afternoon, the 1.50m RBC Financial Group Cup, had 46 horse/rider combinations entered the Meadows on the Green course to take on a demanding track set by master course designer Leopoldo Palacios (VEN). At Spruce Meadows “Canada One”, Will Simpson and El Campeons Tosca take the win in the Duncan Ross Cup

Spruce Meadows, June 29, 2025 - The feature event of the evening was the Duncan Ross Cup. The event saw 36 entries come to the starting gate. Neil Ishoy Claims Victory at CDI-W Blainville Dressage International

Blainville, Quebec — Neil Ishoy of Binbrook, ON, scored a convincing victory in the Intermediaire I at the CDI3*-W Blainville Dressage International taking place June 27-30 at the Blainville Equestrian Park, located north of Montreal, QC. A total of 20 horses came down centerline in front of the panel of five international judges, but none were as impressive as Ishoy and Lone Star, his eight-year-old Hannoverian gelding sired by the well-known thoroughbred stallion, Laurie’s Crusador xx.
