Olympic cross-country course designer hits out at “interference” from the FEI

Great Britain’s Horse and Hound reports that Cross-country course designer Mike Etherington-Smith has hit out at FEI “interference” after being forced to comply with a request from FEI president Princess Haya to make a last-minute fence change to the Olympic course.
Germany took individual and team gold at the Olympic Eventing finale at Sha Tin stadium in Hong Kong this evening, but not without a terrific battle to the very last.
