September 23, 2025

Loxahatchee, FL- September 23, 2025 - The Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center (VTRC) is thrilled to offer exciting events for the entire family during their third annual Harvest Fest fundraising event at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center on October 3, 2009.

Guests can bring all of their family members to this year’s Harvest Fest to enjoy a barbecue, pony rides, carnival games, and much more. The Harvest Fest fundraiser is a ride-a-thon and family festival held each year to raise money for VTRC’s scholarship program, which allows the Center to provide discounted services to over 350 clients with disabilities each year.

“We are looking forward to a great day full of events for all horse enthusiasts,” said VTRC Founder and Executive Director Ruth Menor. “Our community is really coming together to make this a spectacular event that will allow Vinceremos to provide scholarships to our riders in need.”

The third annual Harvest Fest is free to the public and offers a fun-filled day that the entire family can enjoy. Children and adults are welcome to wear their Halloween costume and join in the many festivities that will be taking place.

VTRC will be hosting a delicious barbeque with food that has been graciously donated by Whole Foods. Families can pre-purchase tickets for $10 by calling VTRC at 561-792-9900, or they can purchase tickets at the event. While enjoying their food, guests will also be able to enjoy a DJ playing family friendly music and will have the opportunity to join in interactive games.

Children attending this year’s Harvest Fest will have the opportunity to participate in pony rides and go on the Trick or Treat trail ride. This means that they will not only have the chance to ride a pony, but they will also be playing games on horseback to earn treats donated by local business.

Carnival Games and a Chinese Raffle will also be taking place throughout the day with a number of generous prizes including gift certificates sponsored by Blue Horse Clothing, Ice Zone, Nestle Toll House, Triple Crown, and Pizazz.

Destiny International Properties and Life Time Lumber is the gracious sponsor of this year’s Breyer Horse Costume Contest. With a $5 entry-fee, children can decorate a Breyer model horse that they have brought to the event or have purchased at the event. The child that has the Breyer model that is best decorated in each age group will have his or her choice of a Breyer model kit or a new Breyer horse. The Grand Champion will receive a $50 savings bond.

There will also be two exciting riding demonstrations at this year’s Harvest Fest. The first will be an equitation demonstration by the Gold Coast Arabian Horse Club. Following this event, riders will have the opportunity to participate in the “Your Horse Has Got Talent” contest, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
