Pearce Brings Champagne for $30,000 Ariat Grand Prix Win at Indio

The Canadians enjoyed a break from the sub-zero northern temperatures as they heated up the competition during the summer-like January afternoon at HITS Desert Horse Park. John Pearce, of Stouffville, Ontario, popped the cork and took a victory lap aboard his long-time mount, Champagne, after winning the season’s opening $30,000 Ariat Grand Prix Championship. Coumans and Kerins Share the Spotlight in First Acorn Hill Speed Challenge at the 2006 Winter Equestrian Fesitval

One hundred competitors turned out for the first of nine events in the Acorn Hill 1.40m Speed Challenge Series offered each week at the Winter Equestrian Festival. Because of the massive turnout, the class was divided into two sections. Holland’s Gabrielle Coumans on Okido topped section one, while Darragh Kerins led the victory gallop in the second section. USET Foundation Awards $1.9 Million For High Performance Programs in 2005

ladstone, NJ – January 27, 2026 – The United States Equestrian Team Foundation announced that in 2005 it awarded $1.9 million to the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) in support of its High Performance programs: dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping and vaulting. The grant was made possible by the generous donations of contributors in response to the USET Foundation’s successful fundraising efforts. Read more

United States Dressage Federation Participates as Media Partner in Cadillac Challenge of the Americas for Second Consecutive Year

For the second consecutive year, the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) is participating in the Cadillac Challenge of the Americas as a media partner. The USDF is promoting the Cadillac Challenge through a variety of mediums including advertisements and event coverage in the Federation’s magazine USDF Connection, which is distributed to 34,000 members; notices sent via e-news to USDF members; postings on the USDF website (www.usdf.org); and press releases.
