Aaron Vale and Danacar Master 1.40m Speed Class at Kentucky Spring Horse Show

Lexington, KY - May 9, 2025 - Show jumping excitement continued today at the Kentucky Spring Horse Show, and the highlight in the Sheila C. Johnson Arena was the $5,000 1.40m Open Jumper Table III, Faults Converted, class. Aaron Vale piloted Danacar to first place after he perfected Richard Jeffery’s course. Canadians Karen Pavicic and Pia Fortmuller Win Gold at Sydney CDI3* Invitational in Australia

Ottawa, Ontario—Karen Pavicic of Richmond, BC, and Pia Fortmuller of DeWinton, AB, won the team gold medal at the Sydney CDI3*/CDI–Y International Dressage Derby held in Sydney, Australia, May 1– 3, 2008. The event, hosted at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre at Horsley Park, site of the 2000 Olympic Games, is the only CDI3* held in Australia each year. Read more

The Belgians are Brilliant in La Baule

The Belgian team came out on top in the first leg of the 2008 Samsung Super League with FEI series in La Baule, France this afternoon. This was a tough start to the season, with fortunes fluctuating as the competition progressed, but it was Ludo Philippaerts double-clear, one of the just two on the day, that sealed the result for the team which only returned to the elite level of nations’ cup show jumping last season after relegation in 2005.
