Holder Sets Day 1 Standard At Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event

Lexington, KY, April 24 - Becky Holder, of Mendota Heights, Minn., celebrated her 39th birthday today by easily topping the first of two days of dressage at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, presented by Farnam, on Courageous Comet. “For once I don’t mind my age being the same as my dressage score,” Holder said after earning a score of 39.3 penalties on her gray Thoroughbred gelding. Chapot, Ward Rivalry to continue at Devon

DEVON, Pa.—Laura Chapot and McLain Ward have dominated open jumper competitions at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair for the past decade, and both will be showing at Devon again this year. In the past 10 years, Ward, who rides and trains out of Brewster, N.Y., has been Leading Open Jumper Rider five times, while Chapot of Neshanic Station, N.J., has won that title four times. Equestrian Venue Wanted for 2015 Pan American Games
