At Devon, Catie Boone wins SJHF Jumper Classic

Boone’s mount Naleida won the Junior Jumper Championship and Boone was Leading Junior Jumper Rider.

DEVON, Pa.— Catie Boone of Lexington, Ky., having gone clean in the first round of the $15,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Junior Jumper Classic at the Devon Horse Show, had to wait out an hour-long rain delay before the jump-off, but she didn’t let that get to her.

Second to go in the jump-off after the storm, she shaved three-tenths of a second off Jessica Springsteen’s leading time to win in 35.814. Read more
