Youth and Family Day are popular events at the Chagrin Valley Hunter Jumper Classic

Cleveland, Ohio, June 9, 2025 – The Chagrin Valley Hunter Jumper Classic announces that the popular Youth and Family Days will be back in 2008. Gail Tobin, one of the horse show’s co-chairmen commented “Family & Youth Days are a very important part of our 9 day event. Youth Day has a variety of activities targeted toward children’s groups and camps while Family Day is a fun day with a variety of activities for children under 12.”

Youth Day will be held on Thursday July 17th from 9 am to 1 pm for pre-registered groups & camps. There will be a variety of horse related and hands-on activities for the children to participate in. To signup a group or for more information, contact Lynnette Stuart at 330-708-0013 x 130.

Family Day will take place on Saturday July 19th from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be a variety of full-filled activities plus admission for children is free on Family Day. Some of the activities planned are pony rides, stick horse decorating by Lake Erie College, face painting, the Children’s Museum of Cleveland with crafts and activities, horseless horse show, crafts by Geauga Humane Society and character appearances with our mascot, Hunter. The 9 day horse show runs from Saturday July 12th through Sunday July 20th, 8 am until dusk. Admission is free Saturday July 12th through Wed. July 16th. Ticket prices for Thursday July 17th through Saturday July 19th are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 & under and seniors. Saturday July 19th is Family Day and all children 12 & under are admitted free. For Sunday July 20th, ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children & seniors. Parking is always free.
