Robert Whitaker wins the evening British Open Puissance

The tables turned in the competition between Robert and his father John Whitaker today. With only six riders going clear the third round of the British Open Show Jumping Championship went to John riding Casino who rode the fastest clear in a time of 59.06 seconds with Robert following closely behind on Lacroix 9. Robert Maguire took third place on Two Mills Showtime in a time of 59.72.

Eric finished 18 seconds in front of his closest competitor, 17 year old Abdel Said from Egypt riding Team Harmony Maureen, to take first place in the Birmingham City Shield.
